Premise:
Sunny, impulsive photographer Felix Hartley has a brilliant plan to win the neighborhood pet photo contest—he “borrows” Biscuit, the fluffy and extremely photogenic dog belonging to his reclusive next-door neighbor, Cordelia Vale. One off-leash moment later, Biscuit is barreling through the block like a four-legged tornado, turning a prized dahlia bed to confetti and skidding through a birthday party cake. The HOA is frowning, the neighbors are buzzing, and Felix is out of excuses—except the one where he offers to fix absolutely everything.
Forced into a truce, Felix and Cordelia team up to replant flowers, remake desserts, and make amends—discovering spark after spark beneath their oil-and-water personalities. As the neighborhood slowly rallies around them (and Biscuit), their conflict shifts to tenderness: closed-door kisses on porches, midnight confessions, and a growing promise that’s as real as it is unexpected. Felix’s contest entry ends up as candid snapshots of Biscuit’s wild day and the people who showed up to mend it. When the community votes with their hearts, Felix and Cordelia choose each other—and a future rooted in authentic love, accountability, and a found family they’re ready to belong to.
