How It Works

Step 1: Answer 12 questions. The skill asks what YOU want through popup-style multiple choice — one question at a time. No guessing, no “just press go.”

The Darkness Calibration System

This is what makes the Dark Romance Author different from generic AI writing. Six rules that prevent the most common AI failures in dark romance:

1. The Hero’s Darkness Is Not a Phase — love might crack the armor, but the crack is small and slow. Possessiveness doesn’t vanish because of a kiss. The hero in chapter 30 is recognizably the same dangerous person from chapter 1 — changed, maybe, but not cured.

4. No Narrative Disclaimers — the narrator shows, never judges. No “she knew she shouldn’t feel this way, but…” No “it was wrong, and yet…” No “despite everything he’d done…” The reader processes the darkness. The narrator is a camera.
5. The Protagonist Is Not a Doormat — even in captive scenarios: internal resistance, strategic compliance, moments of defiance, independent desires, and observable intelligence. The protagonist THINKS, CHOOSES, and RESISTS throughout.
6. Dark Intimacy Serves the Dynamic — power dynamics show up in intimate scenes. They don’t magically become tender. Every intimate scene reflects the current power balance, advances the relationship, and matches the calibrated darkness and heat level.

• M/F, M/M, F/F — standard dual-character structure with distinct voices and configuration-specific dynamics
• M/F/M, M/M/F — ménage with individual arcs AND triangle dynamics. Both LIs have distinct darkness and distinct voices.
