How It Works

Step 1: Answer 8 setup questions. The skill asks what YOU want through popup-style multiple choice — one question at a time.

1. Darkness Level — Dark (morally grey, redemption arc), Very Dark (villain hero, questionable redemption), or Extreme/Taboo (no guardrails, no redemption required)
2. Relationship Configuration — M/F, M/M, F/F, M/F/M (ménage), Reverse Harem / Why-Choose, or custom
3. Subgenre — Mafia, Bully, Captive/Kidnapping, Dark CEO, Stalker/Obsession, Monster, Motorcycle Club, Omegaverse, Cult/Sect, Military/Mercenary, Underground, Arranged/Forced Marriage
4. Romance Tropes — enemies-to-lovers, captor/captive, forced proximity, forbidden love, bully-to-protector, revenge, obsession, trauma bond, anti-hero, and more (pick 2-3)
5. Heat Level — steamy, scorching, or extremely explicit
6. POV Structure — dual first, dual third, single first, or multi-POV (for why-choose)
7. Trigger Content Approach — full CW list, general warning, or author’s note
8. Length — novella (20k), standard novel (50-70k), or extended (80-100k)

Step 2: The skill builds your outline across 13 interactive steps, generating story concepts, detailed character bios, the power dynamic map, dark elements architecture, and a chapter-by-chapter outline — with approval checkpoints at every stage.

The Darkness Calibration

You set the darkness level once. Everything in the outline matches it:

• Dark — morally grey heroes with reasons (not excuses). Real power imbalance. Protagonist retains meaningful agency. Redemption arc present and earned.
• Very Dark — villain heroes who may not deserve forgiveness. Extreme power imbalance. Protagonist’s agency is limited but inner strength isn’t. Redemption questionable or partial.
• Extreme/Taboo — no limits on character darkness. Full villain protagonists. No redemption required. The relationship works on its own dark terms. Reader knows what they signed up for.

The outline never softens below your calibrated level. Hero darkness, power dynamics, intimate scenes, the grovel (or lack of one), and the ending all match your chosen darkness.

All Relationship Configurations

The outline structure adapts to your configuration:

• M/F, M/M, F/F — standard dual-character power dynamic with full bio for both leads
• M/F/M, M/M/F — ménage with individual AND triangle dynamics mapped. Each relationship has its own arc.
• Reverse Harem / Why-Choose — 3-5 love interests, each with distinct bios, group dynamic roles, and unique dynamics with the protagonist. Chapter outline tracks POV rotation and relationship escalation per LI.

What the Outline Includes

10 documents by the time you’re done:

1. Story Concept & Pitch — hook, tagline, premise, comp titles, reader promise
2. Protagonist Bio — 16 fields including their power source, breaking point, how they fight back, and the line they won’t cross
3. Love Interest Bio(s) — 18 fields each including why they’re dangerous, their specific darkness, possession style, grovel capacity, and how they justify their actions
4. Power Dynamic Architecture — initial balance, power weapons, 3-5 shift points, tipping point, final balance
5. Dark Elements Map — core dark theme, escalation plan, darkest moment, violence map, manipulation inventory, intimate scene plan
6. Supporting Characters — 4-6 characters with function in the dark narrative, their own darkness, and loyalty mapping
7. Setting & Atmosphere — confinement vs. freedom spaces, danger zones, safe spaces, sensory anchors
8. Grovel Architecture — what must be atoned for, grovel triggers, 3-5 escalating beats, what forgiveness looks like
9. Chapter Outline — 13 fields per chapter including power dynamic beat, darkness level rating (1-10), intimate scene notes, and per-chapter trigger content
10. Trigger Content Master List — complete CW document with major triggers, minor triggers, kink content, and chapter-specific warnings
