Description
Your Outline Becomes a Book — In Your Voice, Not AI Voice
The Romance Writer Pipeline is a professional manuscript production system that runs inside Claude Desktop’s Cowork mode. Feed it an outline, feed it a sample of your writing, and it produces a complete novel or novella that sounds like you wrote it on your best day.
This isn’t a chatbot that writes generic romance. It analyzes your sentence patterns, your dialogue style, your pacing, your vocabulary, the way you handle emotion — and builds a custom style guide that drives every word of the manuscript. For steamy and scorching heat levels, it even analyzes your intimate writing separately so those scenes match your voice too.
What You Get
A complete .docx manuscript — every chapter written as full prose, matching your outline’s POV assignments, trope tags, chapter goals, and romance arc beats.
A reusable style guide — saved as a separate file so you can skip the analysis step on your next book. Upload it and go.
A KDP metadata document — book description, 7 Amazon keyword phrases, BISAC categories, comp titles, target audience, and a detailed cover image prompt ready for AI image generation.
The Editorial Pipeline
Raw AI prose has telltale patterns that experienced readers spot immediately. That’s why every manuscript goes through a full editorial pipeline — not one pass, but six. And the pipeline uses different AI models for different jobs.
Assessment passes use Sonnet — fast, sharp, and critical. It catches problems without pulling punches.
All prose writing and fixes use Opus — the most capable model available, producing the highest quality prose with the best voice-matching fidelity.
Here’s the full flow:
Pass 1: AI-Ism Identification (Sonnet) — Analyzes every chapter for robotic connector words, emotional over-labeling, clinical precision, mechanical chapter structures, dialogue problems, and any drift from your style guide. Produces a chapter-by-chapter report with specific passages flagged.
Pass 2: AI-Ism Fixes (Opus) — Rewrites every flagged passage in your voice. Not in a generic “better” voice — in YOUR voice, matching your sentence rhythms, vocabulary, and quirks.
Pass 3: Developmental Edit (Sonnet) — A full structural assessment covering romance as A-plot, heat level compliance, subgenre delivery, pacing, plot and conflict, character arcs, POV consistency, dialogue authenticity, and emotional payoff. Produces an executive summary and ranked priority action items.
Pass 4: Dev Edit Fixes (Opus) — Takes the top 5 structural issues and rewrites affected chapters as complete prose. Genre drift is always the #1 priority — if the romance isn’t central or the heat level is off, that gets fixed first.
Pass 5: Beta Read (Sonnet) — A critical reader review with an honest star rating, specific praise, specific problems (with chapter references), and ranked suggestions for improvement.
Pass 6: Beta Read Fixes (Opus) — Applies the top 3 structural fixes with full chapter rewrites and continuity checks.
By the time your manuscript comes out the other end, it’s been through more editorial scrutiny than most self-published books get from human editors.
Voice Matching — The Secret Sauce
The style guide isn’t a checkbox exercise. The skill analyzes your writing across every dimension that makes a voice distinctive:
- Sentence structure — length, variation, fragment usage, punctuation style
- Narrative depth — how far into internal monologue you go, how you editorialize
- Dialogue patterns — ratio, tag usage, banter rhythm, how your characters talk
- Pacing — scene length, transition style, action vs. reflection balance
- Descriptive style — sensory density, metaphor frequency, setting approach
- Vocabulary — level, distinctive preferences, profanity, emotional language
- Humor — style, frequency, where and how you deploy it
For steamy and scorching heat levels, there’s a separate spicy style analysis covering explicitness, body language vocabulary, emotional integration, pacing, language boundaries, and how you enter and exit intimate scenes.
Works With Any Outline
From the Romance Outline Pipeline: Upload the .docx and the skill parses everything automatically — character bios, trope mapping, romance arc, chapter outline, all of it.
Your own outline: Upload a .docx, .md, .txt, or paste it directly. The skill asks a few quick questions to fill in any gaps (subgenre, heat level, POV style, target word count) and you’re off.
All Subgenres, All Heat Levels
Romantic Comedy, Romantic Suspense, Contemporary, Historical, Paranormal, Dark Romance, Sweet/Clean, Mafia, Sports, Western, Romantasy, MM, FF, Reverse Harem — whatever your romance is, the skill adapts. The editorial pipeline adjusts its assessment criteria for each subgenre, and the heat level is calibrated precisely to what you specify.
